The Joliet Area Historical Museum recently open an exhibit called “Toys!” just in time for the holidays. The toy display was opened on December 7 and features 300 toys from a time range of 150 years.
In addition, at the exhibit, children can participate in crafts and activities that celebrate holiday traditions from all over the world. For example, the activity tables include crafts which recognize Hanukkah, Christmas, Diwali, and the Chinese New Year.
The education coordinator at the museum says that the toy exhibit is educational and enjoyable for people of all ages because toys, their materials, and their construction “are emblematic of a culture.” In addition, the coordinator says that the exhibit is a great place for parents, children, and grandparents to spend time together and gain a greater understanding of each generation.
The Joliet bankruptcy attorneys would like to wish all a very happy holiday season.
